About
Over the last thirty-something years Grey Matter Gravy has been the home for the art I’m making. It began as my public access TV show. At one point it was a video blog. Now it’s a zine.
Why a zine? Well, I’ve spent much of my adult life creating ephemeral and digital artwork. By day, I’m a user experience designer for Firefox (both ephemeral and digital!). It’s been a long time since I made physical things — something I’ve always enjoyed. So here we are. What else can I tell you about it? I’ve made up a few rules for myself to keep things interesting:
- There will never be a title or any branding on the front cover.
- Each issue has to be physically different from the one that proceeds it.
- I’m going to design the shit of it. This is as much a design project as anything else.
- The only constant is me — everything else can change from issue to issue.
